OUR INTERVENTIONS
We aim to ensure the accessibility and sustainability of primary health care for disadvantaged people in Senegal but also promote the empowerment and well-being of women and girls.
Since 2010, the Foundation has sent around twenty batches of medicines and medical equipment to dispensaries and birth centers in Senegal.
We keep girls in school by providing them with affordable sanitary napkins. Many girls in Senegal stay at home for a week a month due to menstruation because they do not have suitable pads.
In 2014, the Foundation launched SantéVie Towels, reusable cotton sanitary towels that aim to remedy this situation. These effective pads promote girls’ empowerment and provide freedom of movement during menstruation.
