What an exceptional year!!!
Dear friends and supporters,
Thank you for helping us accomplish so much this year.In February 2013, we delivered a container of materials worth $55,000 to the Gorom 1 maternity ward. The center took time to get organized but there is a growing awareness of the services provided there. .However, some equipment is not used and it will be transferred to a hospital in Kaolack in 2014. We therefore continued to send medicines to our partner, the Health Post in Gorom 1.
We recently received a donation of 4000 dressings from PharmaMag, Inc. in Quebec City worth $12,000.The dressings left Montreal on December 10, 2013 and will be delivered to Dr. Kamador TOURE at Fann Hospital, Dakar.They will also be distributed to community clinics where they will be used to treat diabetes ulcers and other persistent wounds.

And… in January 2014 we will launch our innovative SantéVie® Towels project. This self-financing project aims to provide reusable cotton feminine hygiene products to women and girls in Senegal.Thank you to our many collaborators and a special thank you to Irwin Tauben, Mark Fleisher (Suzie – Q Textiles), Bernadette Blais and Arthur Pereira.
